A Meeting of Desperate Souls

We gather upon the faded shore,

a meeting of souls deserving of more,

hidden in shadows by our own desire,

and within us burns a fire,

so fierce so strong it cannot be ignored,

gathered here upon this faded shore,

desperate souls with great longing,

searching for a sense of belonging,

lost in sorrow and laden with pain,

and with our own blood,

our hands will be stained,

our lonely souls will find each other here upon this faded shore,

and together we will show the world just how freely we can soar,

we meet upon this shore just once,

we meet the souls for which we hunt,

that soul that identifies with our own,

and brings us to our rightful home,

to our kingdom on the shore,

and we neither want or need more
