Poem by: Enw Anhysbys

Summary

This is how I often feel with my poetry. Stuck. And never without a thesaurus.

Poetry doesn’t come easily for you,

Does it?

I see you sitting there

Your face scrunched up

Struggling to find the right words

Knuckles white

Thesaurus pages well used,

Even torn,

And pasted on your wall

With sticky tack.

It’s something that would make

Even your dictionary

Feel envious.
