You are who you are

You keep saying that to me

I’m watching you now

Pretending to be…

That amazing one

Pure and unreal

That’s who you are

The real deal

When will you know,

I know who you are

You confuse and assume

…Just confuse and assume

Pray that one day no one will see

That what you said, you said only to me

That anywhere you turn, there’ll be no one there

That you’re trapped here, your thoughts laid bare

You change and change, you don’t know who you are

You blame and blame, attempt to change the stars

Every secret you believe will work

Just comes back to haunt you, it’s like clockwork

When will you know,

I know who you are

You confuse and assume

…Just confuse and assume

Take away your mindless shit

I’ve put up with it for long enough

I’ll break you down where you sit

When you don’t believe I can be tough

Break out of every lie

You say them again and again

I’d never wish for you to die

But sometimes that just depends…

Breathing in deeply

Controlling the anger, it burns

I approach salvation weakly

For freedom, my heart yearns

When will you know,

I know who you are

You confuse and assume

…Just confuse and assume

When will you know,

I know who you are

You confuse and assume

…Just confuse and assume
