this i for a friend of mine

thought she was going far

nobody knew what happened next

sitting in the guiter

crying for her baby

no-one saw the pain or the guilt

started drinking

that girl she never went far

never thought about damage

the chance she took

hurting, grieving, waiting

she's bleeding now

the blood gushing out like a stream

she spreads her wings to fly away

that girl yeah she was stupid

she loved him and he hurt her

through a river of tears

the pregnancy that killed her

made her who she is

the still berth that lay in her blood soaked embrace

the boy that stood there

she and her baby are only memories now

bleeding, hurting, crying

dead memories
