Thor woke up abruptly, feeling raw, pulling himself out of a nightmare he didn't care to ruminate further upon. Damn… being a Space Construction Vehicle ain’t no flipping picnic… the stress really does get to me sometimes… A friend of his had already been committed to the psych ward due to a certain paranoia of the government secretly using workers from time to time for inescapable, suicide recon missions on new battlefronts. Thor had of course noticed the recurrent pattern of one of his comrades being pulled off the line, but to think that the promotion system set up by the Terran Council was some sort of suicidal spy operation was just a little much for him. \"Hah, Joe always did have an imagination...invisible protoss living among us, now this...haha\" Thor thought to himself, grinning like an idiot. Well, today's the day, the day my outfit is assigned to Shakuras for the war effort...I hope the weathers nice for a change, and the atmosphere's at least not acidic, like those other goddamn sites I've had the fortune to have been sent to...

Thor arrived late to the fitting station, hastily pulled on his now rusted T- 280 suit, still pretty intimitating with its twelve foot stature. “What would Dustin, that nay saying fool from the academy say now\" Thor chuckled to himself. He remembered nostalgically the first time he had been introduced to this interesting profession via the Terran Confederacy's propagandizing pamphlets and that one particularly comical quotation:

\"Have you ever dreamt of exploring distant planets and then working overtime there for minimum wage? Well, your dreams have been answered, pardner! It just so happens that the Dominion has a use for your undying loyalty and pathetic fear of the battlefield frontlines.\"

Suit now stored in the ship’s bay, Thor stepped into the low orbit transport ship and prepared to board his sector's battlecruiser, destined for the fringe of the Koprulu sector...
