This is you
The soft pain of ghost tears that dried
And left you empty inside
Acrylic dreams we're just along for the ride
We sleep under fake stars, our artificial constellations
Shared honey-lavender vibrations
The future is changing like the deep-sea swirls
Of a mother of pearl
That you find on the beach in Mexico
Your troubled, though
I asked a passing comet for happiness
It happens
As we imagine:
You'll love we and I'll love you
In the end really it's just us two
And our spray paint on the pavement
And the private universe we create
I'm craving change but I have to wait
Building my acrylic dreams
