I have imagined your eyes full of nervousness as we lean into a kiss
I have seen your eyes looking deep into mine and I have seen the simmering lakes
I have sinned.
I have touched your hands for more than just a brief sweet minute
I have wanted to feel your hands tough my arm, my back, and my knee
I have sinned.
I have stared at the corners of your lips as you smile at an insult I hurl your way
I have dreamed of the curve of your's meeting the curve of mine
I have sinned.
I have looked at your golden locks and wondered how soft they are
I have watched you shake your head as your hair blocks your line of sight
I have sinned for you are a guy.
A guy who may or may not like me, but a guy that I haven't been able to get out of my head for years.
A guy who gets me and who has a way of making me feel special even when all I want to do is cry.
A guy who barely knows me but who I desperatly want to know.
A guy who cares about all that I care about, but who probably doesn't care about me.
And a guy who, if he took a chance, I'd willingly give my heart to- he'd have no need to steal it.
