I want to see into your soul,

I want to hold your beating heart

in my hand.

I want to hear your burning thoughts,

I want to taste your sweet lips

laid on top of mine.

But my love,

I want you.

I want all of you.

The you that holds my hand,

kisses my forehead,

brushes my hair behind my ears,

lets me cry on your shoulder,

tickles me to wake me up,

always forgets to grab napkins,

recites poetry incorrectly,

hums songs by the Beatles,

draws me pictures,

says you love me.

You love me

I love you.

I love the you that

leaves me flowers,

calls me 'sweetie',

rubs my back,

pushes me in the swing,

holds my hips,

pets my cat,

kisses my fingers,

dances with me in the rain,

cuddles during movies,

plays catch with my brother,

tucks in your sister.

I love that you.

Just don't change,

don't ever change.

You are perfect

and I love that you.
