A sigh in the air,

An intake of breath,

The parting of ways,

An instant death,

Once a dream,

Come alive,

To haunt you in a lullaby.

Once the past,

But now no more,

For this dream has come and gone,

But your dream will come undone.

Rush your life,

To live it to the best,

Knowing all to well you will be laid to rest.

Cold as death and deep too,

To never breath on this avenue,

The place of love and friendship

Only a memory,

And then dust.

So rush your life,

Run while you can,

Run from this boogie man,

But I will find you and unfortunately you will die,

Tumbling in a dark abyss,

Where you can say you were never alive.

Take one more deep breath,

And smell the fresh air,

Pick up your spirit,

And I shall carry you there.
