He said that he could stop me
But I said that that’s impossible
(Even though his arms are steel)
So I told him to prove it
When he gave me that metallic stare.

But I just wanted
To feel the weight of his body
(Replace the weight of the world)
And I wanted to see
His golden smile
And hear his clanging laugh
When I try to wriggle out from under him,
Because our love isn’t measured
In words or presents
But how many times
He says I can’t tickle him
(But he lets me anyways)
