"Breathe in, and again," you said
And I coughed and you laughed,
And again I tried, 'til I did it
With tears in my eyes.
We two-toke passed and were
Mellow, oh mellow pleasure.
My first spliff with you is a memory to treasure.
And when we spent
Ten grand on Ace of Spades champagne
That night, shit what a night, man,
Dead drunk, empty pockets, lost car keys.
You took three girls home that night
And I just laughed with my one girl.
You were such a womaniser.
And you taught me that
Money CAN buy happiness,
When Leroy was stabbed we cried
In comfort in my Bentley while high.
The memories are immortal
And you might be gone now
But I still see you when I roll one.
And I cough. I hear you laugh.
Smile down on me, on us
And help me move on,
'Cos it feels like the bullet is in MY chest.
Rest In Peace, while I suffer this test.
