Machines

Stripping away the peels of you

And me, and we- the wheels in this

Cog machine seem to blow the fog away.

You’re here for play, and you’d sneer and say

Something brash to my heart if I showed it

To you. So screw the sentimental girl

Aswirl in this cyclone of great sex

And vexed conversations over blue S

Chat rants, and instead I’ll just dance

Naked in my livingroom on pink carpets

And sink further into daydreams of you, me,

Awolnation and two glasses of cab sauv

Against your mauve bedsheets against

The backdrop of a drab Calgary day.

Because I’m high on you.

And I want to play.
