.... whatever this is

How wrong I was when I looked in your eyes,
How wrong I was when I believed your lies,
Even candy coated and full of hate,
Poison filled, and now it’s too late,
I see you now, for what you truly are,
Your twisted smile and deliberate scar,
Now as the world fades, I can clearly see,
What I should have been all along, was me.
