Just a little rewrite of a night time forgot

"Oh, I move like your master, huh? You think you can drag me here to this place, set me up, try to throw me in prison and have me arrested and you think that you get to back down from this fight?"

Jack Punctuates his last line with the side of his palm across Nick's right eye socket, the bone crushes, and the blood flows. It is instant and as soon as he makes contact everyone in the bar is silent, even the band stopped playing.

Every blow one last nail in the coffin of taking the evil as it comes from others on their terms, this motherfucker, he is going to be made an example of, and one that will not be soon forgot.

He falls forward, I'm on him as soon as his face drags the ground, my knee in the back of his neck. He's not a small man, and now his face is bleeding.

"This bores me!" I say as I smash the back of his skull with my heel.

Short fat Nick was just the start of this night. I had not went on such a long journey to go back to this point in time to have it ruined by something like someone getting away alive.

There is one thing that I did not take into account, the madness. I was still going insane in this body, and the chemical imbalance is not fixed. Fighting hard against the darkness, I take up and run after her.

She came with him, and he was not going to make it out alive. She loves him more than me in the future, and she told me that it was the only way. Only this time, I didn't just sit in silence hearing voices, I struck the fear of god in them.

He will not survive the night, and here I am, in her arms on the way to the hospital.

Too bad I don't have any of that money here, but it doesn't matter. I've managed to do it differently this time, I won't leave my friends hanging this time, we made it and kept going this time.

Or so I like to imagine. There is no magic in this world. There is no way to go back to times we wish we could change, what we can do is try to get those we still want, and embrace new possibilities that make themselves apparent when we least expect them.

Who we want people to be, and who the actually turn out to be are often two very different things, and it just goes to show you that the future is not set in stone, but things do happen and sometimes they were meant to happen.

I mean I still get someone in the end.

Obstacles in my path? You mean lessons on the road.
