A A A

you treated me like a rose upon one hundred million daisies

took care of my petals as if they were ruby

rid me of my thorns and made me loving.

but now you're off finding a new one-of-a-kind,

and you left your rose

wilted

rotten

bitter

and slouching.

red upon yellow

became

soft brown upon soft brown.

I HOPE YOU FIND YOUR SPECIAL FLOWER.
