If the winter had a face it’d look a lot like you.

Cold and unforgiving, light without warmth.

I bet we could live like real lovers do.

Take you to somewhere quiet up north.

But this season isn’t made up of dreams-come-true.

Just a hard lowly promise that love will evade.

And isn’t it funny you can just start anew?

Alone and so bitter in the snowy months shade.

So where’d we turn right when our future was left?

Can you please answer this now?

Because his arms around you just feels like a theft.

And loving without you, well I don’t know how.
