Get out of the train

brush down my coat

put on my hat

put on my gloves

my feet are tired and so so wet

my feet are so dirty

If I get out of the train the police will arrest me

maybe I should hide

or mingle with the crowd

but I have no ticket

and I have no money

I have a phone

but I need to charge it

lyca to lyca free for me

but everytime I ring it say

number not recognised

where can he be

we travelled together and then he left

took another train maybe

I walk and I walk

I take a bus and a train

even taken a plane

I have taken a tram

but I don't know where I'm going

but I have a travel document

and they say I am 26 but maybe I am 23

A girl she smiles at me

and I smile back

maybe she'll invite me for a coffee

she takes out 20 euros and hands it to me

buy yourself something to eat she says so very kindly

Can I stay with you I say

no impossible she says

and so I carry on

buy myself a coffee

and give the change to someone who looks like they need it more than I do

I am cold

I dream of pomegranites

how I hate this cold damp tent

I have a candle, a sleeping bag but no money to pay rent

no job, no life and no wife
