The final poem in a series of twelve. It has been an interesting twelve days.

Sometimes context is everything. Some poems require an understanding of the situation at hand in order to get even a small morsel. Not so Michael Rosen's How Many, which he wrote for Mordechai Vanunu. It is one of my favourite poems because it speaks so profoundly, in such a simple way.

I have taken inspiration from this poem.
I dedicate it to Michael Rosen, and in no way claim that this is as great as his.
I also dedicate it to every Christian.

How many people
who read,
hear?

How many people
who hear,
listen?

How many people
who listen,
trust?

How many people
who trust,
remember?

How many people
who remember,
do?

How many people
who do,
also speak?
