For fourteen years I fell,
through the clearest blue of skies,
and falling was the easy part
because its how we all survive.

But then along came the rain clouds,
blowing icy chilling wind,
and for sometime I loved it,
as my atmosphere thinned.

I let down my defenses,
and flew as dragons do.

But when the storm clouds left me,
I found myself quite lost,
but thats what loving thunder storms,
will eventually cost.

So I blindly fell for longer,
slashing out with swords and rage,
and in my book of memories,
I left a knife wound on each page.

But then as if from nowhere,
came a behemoth quite unreal,
and it filled me full of love again,
it made me want to feel.

I witnessed what a dragon was,
for the first time I can recall,
and I gave it everything,
and it tore down all my walls.

My dragon climbed inside me,
and shone out of my heart,
and rewrote my easy part.

So now I fly with dragons,
on wings on black and gold,
and with my breath of fire,
I shoot down the lies that I am sold.

Perhaps you are a dragon too?
Its quite an easy thing to know,
just mutter words to yourself,
words like \"I love you.\"
