I won't play your games
because you say you love me

Did I miss the meeting,
where the world decided to stand still for you?

Or was I out the room,
when we crowned you a God?

Fate plays her game
and we can only play along!

When was this ever fair?
When did we let this happen?
when did you let it get this far?

So stay.
Locked up in your prison of heartache,
and return to me when all has melted
from the warmth of your soul.
