Who would you save your friend or a stranger?

That is my question, how many people does it take.

If it was to save your friend or to let ten people die, would you?

I would.

Nothing in the world is more important than friends to me.

What if it was one of your friends or one million strangers?

I would still save my friend.

A friend isn’t something you just throw away, there is a trust that forms when this friendship begins and to me breaking that is one of the worst things you can do.

Maybe I feel this way because I have very few friends or maybe because I have spent so much time alone. Maybe it is because I have seen them hurt and I couldn’t stand knowing that I would never see them again. Maybe it is the pain I will feel knowing that I am responsible.

I would save my friend even if I had to watch each of those people suffer, even if I had to see their families cry. Because the next day I know who will be there for me and it wouldn’t be those one million strangers. When I’m crying and regretting what I have done I know that my friends will be there for me and will understand that all I need right now is a hug.

Those strangers are just numbers, that friend is worth more than any amount.

True friendship is knowing that they will be there for you, even at your darkest moment.
