As we part

My heart aches: it still loves your name.

As we part

My soul weeps: it still loves you the same.

As we part

My lips long for your lips and yet, still, there is no change.

As we part

Snows of sorrow gush out ceaselessly from my spirit

the spirit that loved like no other

the spirit that loved you

As we part

I ponder upon question, after question

Should I follow this through?

For I've seen the end of the road

Should I fight for love?

For I've seen its soul-lifting colours; for I've tasted its wine and touched its dove

for I-love-you... But...Should we part...?
