We wait all year for this, but along with the wait comes the chaos of the actual day.

Pots and pans wake you up

The smell of pies and laughter of family

Are what get you out of bed.

The most anticipated day of the year

It is the time of year for family

The time of year of giving thanks for everything.

Family from all over joins you

The game is on, for all to see

The chaos is all over the place.

But everyone settles down when it's time to eat

Of course after, it's time to sleep

Until that time next year, when chaos ensus.
