When they want to party.
I want to pray.
When they want to drink
I want to cry.
I am the outsider looking in.
Looking at a sad world.
I am an outcast looking in.

I totally relate to this. While some people are out for themselves, all I want to do is reach out and help however I can.
Well expressed Faith, thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much :)
Despite the simplicity of this piece
you managed to convey more than the obvious.
These words could simply belong to a young girl
who is strong in her morals or one that might
one day enter a convent.
Strong work, M.
