Here I am, my name is Frank and I’m a man with many goals and aspirations, but one dream maybe two. My whole life I’ve seen couples (men and women, men and men, and women and women) be with each other for long periods of time and every time I would see one of these couples my heart would ache because I didn’t have that kind of love. The only love I had and will always have is my mother and family loving me. Until one day, in seventh grade, I saw this girl. Rebecca Jackson was her name. She had long, curly auburn red hair that intensified when the sun hit it just right. Her eyes would make me smile when she looked at me and her smile just made her prettier every time I saw it. We slowly became friends and as I got to know her better I slowly started to fall for her, keeping it a secret I went as though we were good friends. Looking back I wish I could have shown that I had feelings for her, but I always think that what if she never felt the same way as I did? So we were great friends and I was hanging out with her and her brother Andrew Jackson, but one day in high school I had to say something very stupid and basically ruin what we all had because Andrew and Rebecca were Christian and I said I was a Satanist, protecting their children from any danger their parents told them to not hang around me anymore. As time passed I wanted to get them to hang around me again because I truly missed my friends and their dad said no so I didn’t do anything. Later on, Andrew started hanging out with me again and Rebecca obeyed her parents and stayed away from me, but we still had the occasional “Hi. How are you doing?” conversation. And then we went our separate ways. Now a couple years later I see her at the local Kmart store and she said “My dad is divorcing my mom so I can hang out with you now!!!!!!!” I was so happy when she said that because now I can hang out with a long lost friend and get close with her again. As we start to hang out again I Meet her mom, who accepts me because now I have a positive attitude, to where back in junior high I didn’t. “It was because everyone was bullying me and calling me names. They made me feel miserable.” I told her, but now I get to hang out with good friends that I haven’t hung out with since junior high and she smiled. The more I hung out with Andrew and Rebecca the closer I got to Rebecca and the happier I seemed to make her and her mom. One day Andrew, Rebecca, and I were hanging out at my house so they got to meet my mom for the first time and it went well. We left my house and went to Cassie’s house. Cassie is a friend of Rebecca and mine and we all had a great time while we were there and I asked Rebecca to step outside so I could talk to her in private. Sliding open the sliding glass door I asked her to step out first being a gentleman, but she retorted with “you’re more of a lady than I am.” After she said her reply we both laughed and she stepped outside after me and closed the sliding glass door. We walk over to a bench and sit down. “Rebecca I was talking to one of my friends and I think I might be bi-sexual. I do have a girl that I like, but I don’t know what to do.” I tell her. “Well you can write her a note explaining how you feel about her and the worst thing she can do is not talk to you again.” She replies. “Well the girl I like is you.” I tell her. With her shocked expression on her face I can read her reply from her eyes. “Me? Why?” she asks me. “I like everything about you Rebecca. I like the way your eyes make me smile, the way you make me happy when you’re around me, and most of all I like your personality.” I tell her laying on a bit of my charm. “Well, we do click. We do have some of the same interests and everything, but I’m going to have to think about this Frank.” She tells me. “That’s fine Rebecca. I don’t want an answer right now, I want you to think about this and hopefully you would pick the right choice.” I tell her. After we are done talking, we stand up and hug each other then she smiles at me with that beautiful smile of hers and I smile back at her with mine. Since then I have been waiting for her answer and I haven’t hung out with her because she has been busy and she got sick. When I heard that she was sick I wanted to rush over to her house and be by her side to take care of her until she was better, but when I asked Andrew if anyone was at home he said nobody was there so I didn’t go and I hope to hang out with them today so maybe I can get my answer then of course I’ll do something romantic to show her my feelings for her.
