I storm into my apartment, slaming the door behind me. \"Birch you bastard, I know you here.\" I hear him chuckle, he drops from the ceiling. His hard body sliding down mine. He plants a soft kiss on my neck, swatting me on my behind before taking a seat at the kitchen table. \"And hello to you to Alaska.\" He smiles at me his eyes crinkling at the sides, showing off his perfect white teeth. His brown eyes holding mine, his straight nose slightly crinkled with his smile. \"Long time no see baby.\" He winks at me. \"I actually feel used that you only ever come for my birthday.\" I laugh as I sit down next to him. \"Its like I'm a present every year, I know you love it.\" I slap him playfully on his chest. \"So what you got me this year, if its another hunk to feed on I don't want one, not to be ungreatful. Its just not my type.\" \"Nope, go on get ready, we're going out so wear something nice.\"|

An hour later me and Birch are heading out the house, him dressed in jeans, white t-shit and a leather jacket. I have black skinny jeans, purple dressy top and killer black heels. \"So Birch where are we going? The supense is killing me.\" He smiles at me shaking his head. Birch is always such the tease. \"Don't be asking me every five minutes, just trust me its going to be fun.\" Birch opens the door to his really expensive car. A cars a car if you ask me but Birch is really picky about them. After a really boring drive Birch pulls up outside a club. The sign outside says fright night. I roll my eyes at him. \"Really?\" \"Oh, it'll be a laugh. Put this on.\" He chucks me masquerade mask. Heading into the club, a small woman greets us at the door. \"What are we tonight then? Murders or victims?\" Birch look at me and winks. \"Murders honey.\" He smiles sweetly at her taking my hand and walking into the house.|

I let go of Birchs hand going to find my prey. I spot a pretty little girl dressed as a victim, fake blood running down her neck onto her pretty little chest. I slowly walk over to her, keeping her eyes locked with me, when I finally reach her she smile politely but carrys on dancing. Looking into her eyes I whisper. \"Don't scream, this will be fun.\" I bend down, putting my hands on her shoulders and biting her neck. She doesn't even make a sound, carrying on dancing like I wasn't feeding on her. She tastes sweet like strawberries, this girl is pure, she doesn't smoke; doesn't drink; still a virgin. Just how I like them. I break away, looking into her eyes again. \"Nothing happened.\" She blinks, turning around she dances away. I turn around looking for Birch, I spot him feeding on a girl no older than 17. The strob lights making him look every part of the beautiful vampire he is. I shake my head slightly but carry on dancing. I watch as Birch finishes up with the girl, making her forget that anything happened then walks over to me. \"Having fun?\" He asks kissing away a bit of blood on my lips. \"Yes thank you, I've not fed on a real person since my last birthday, you bring the vampire in me.\" I giggle at him. We carry on dancing, feeding and playing the murders that we truly are.|

We both stumble into my apartment, high on blood. Birch closes the door behind us with a swift kick of his foot. I walk straight into my bedroom lying face down on the bed. \"Birch, Birch.\" I call him, hearing him fumbling around with something in the kitchen. \"Yes baby.\" He says walking into the room. \"Take my shoes of please.\" He grunts bending down to pull off my heels. He swats me playfully on my behind again standing up and collapsing on the bed beside me. \"Oh I do miss you Alaska.\" He mumbles. \"I miss you too, its so quite without you arsehole.\" He chuckles, shaking the bed softly. \"I can't believe a couple hundred years ago I fount you all defensless about to be burnt to a crisp by the sun all on your own and took you in. I still think I made a kick ass vampire out of you.\" \"You sure did, thank you for saving me.\" I face him watching his face turn into a smile. We lie there in an unawkward silence, I think Birch has gone to sleep when I hear him mumble. \"You know I think I might stay and keep you company Alaska.\" I don't reply, not wanting to hurt his feelings by telling him I don't want him to stay because I like my life. I close my eyes remembering the last time Birch came to stay.
