This is a fictional story of a boy named Todd who met a girl that didn't seem human, judging by the way she acted.

Find out what happens if humans knew more than what this world holds for us.

Hi, I'm Todd, and I'm what you'd call a 'child genious'. No kidding, I've won plenty of competitions, beating out kids that are three or four years older than me.

Now, you see, there's this girl about my age in my class, called Stacey. She's smart, and talented, but she's always.... spacing out. I mean, she's a completely normal girl at first, she likes to play games and interacts just fine with her friends, but when it gets a little quiet, she just sits and stares blankly into space.

...I guess that's where she got the nickname, 'Spacey Stacey'...

It's not like I'm creeped out, or anything, it's just that I'm intrigued. So I managed to befriend her. Turns out, she's more than just smart and talented. She's capable of doing things that even adult geniuses can't do! She could already tell what kind of person I was just by the way I greeted her. She always knew what I was thinking of, yet I could never unfathom what she is thinking of. She doesn't have to think before answering a question, heck, she doesn't even have to hear the question to answer it! She could learn and play a song in less than five minutes. She could even play it backwards! She could sing duets on her own. She could reach notes so high and notes so low that it would put all of history's greatest singers to shame. And if you gave her a picture to copy, she'd draw an exact replica..... using a pen!

Alright, NOW, I'm a little intimidated.

I asked her how she could do all this, and she answered me with a question, "Do you ever wonder if the world we lived in was just an illusion, and that we could possibly be existing in a different realm other than this?" I couldn't answer. I had no idea how.

"Do you ever wonder if humans could ever exceed this world's knowledge?", she asked another baffling question.

"......I believe so....."

"Then what if humans knew much more? We would be able to reach that different plain of existence!"

"I don't understand...."

"Don't you see, Todd? If our brains were designed to form a reality based on what we know, then we should certainly be capable of reaching other forms of reality, thus creating a whole different world!"

I'm speechless. So that's what's going on in her mind...

"You still don't get it, huh?" She snapped me out of my daze. "Have you ever wondered why I could do such superhuman things?"

Ah! I get it now!

"I was able to reach that 'other realm', so whatever I am fully capable of doing is impossible in this realm. And whenever I put my mind into thinking of things that exceed this realm's knowledge, it would seem like I'm completely detached from this realm, or what you'd normally call 'spacing out'."

It all made sense now. The human brain; what a marvel. But apparently, this brain of mine still has a long ways to go to be able to reach its full capacity. And I'm sure that not even Stacey has achieved that. Only God knows EVERYTHING.

I wrote this short just to elaborate a theory I want to propose. It's the Realms of Knowledge Theory, and that's basically what it says in the story.

Lovely story explaining your theory. It would be interesting for there to be more than one reality, where we can take and give information. Almost like a dimensional rift, but centering more so on knowledge instead of time. Expressing your idea through characters and a short story was an excellent way of doing it. Great job!
