It was December 25th, 1846, when Laura Laine passed away. The whole town grieved her death and assumed her brother, Christopher Laine killed her with anger. The time has passed now and it's 1875 and nobody has taken residence on the Laine House, until one winter, a family of four did. It was the Ridge family. There were two siblings, a boy and a girl, Nathan Ridge and Stephanie Ridge. They both were loving siblings and often helped each other out when the other had a problem needed to be fixed. The Laine House was now the Ridge's Residence.

Life went very smoothly and Christmas was around the corner. The family began experiencing strange things, like seeing a 10 year old girl running across the halls with a kitchen knife, sometimes an axe, and playing the classical piano in the family room but sometimes making it seem like the piano keys are being punched. But the most disturbed one of all, was Nathan. Nathan couldn't sleep at night and often was afraid of what was in his closet, outside, at the stairs, or under his bed, He knew this was too childish to be and soon stopped thinking about the strange things that happened.

Christmas was the next day and Nathan couldn't wait. He wouldn't let this night get in the way! The worst disturbance finally came and Nathan groaned in annoyance. He got up from his bed, feeling like a man. He left his room and came face to face with a little girl who was Laura Laine, who looked so much like Stephanie. "S...Steph? What are you... -" Nathan said. "Hello, Christopher. I can't believe you did this to me." Laura Laine said. "W...What? I'm not Christopher! Look, I may look like your brother but I never killed you or anybody! I'm sorry if you are not a rest!" Nathan said, backing up, while Laura Laine raised her axe. "You lied to me! You killed me the night before Christmas! I hate you! And how are you sure that you're not Christopher?!" Laura Laine said. "If I'm Christopher, I can't be a kid! I should be grown up and somewhere NOT in this house!" Nathan explained. Laura Laine lowered her axe and broke down crying. "I just can't believe this happened to me! EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT CHRISTOPHER, I STILL WILL KILL YOU!" Laura Laine cried, taking her axe and chopping Nathan's head off. Blood was everywhere and and Stephanie came out of her room. She saw Laura Laine. "HEY! Aren't you Laura Laine?! Get away from us! You can't do this-" Stephanie said. "HE'S CHRISTOPHER TO ME!" Laura Laine cried. "TO YOU! You just killed my brother.. Christopher might have never loved you like Nathan loved me, but now, I don't have one since it's all your fault! Please leave us alone!!!" Stephanie said. She was afraid of the gore that laid on the floor while Laura Laine turned away in pain, not thinking what she should have done.

A funeral was held for Nathan Ridge and Christmas for the Ridge family was cancelled. Stephanie was traumatized and never became normal, Laura Laine visited Stephanie in her dreams, pleading for forgiveness and searched on for Christopher Laine.
