In the beggining there were 4 creatures made of the elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. This is where it begins and I am where it ends, But i'll start from the beggining. The beggining happens to be the real version of the Legend of The Love of the Wolf and the Swan. I'm not really supposed to tell anyone this, its a family secret but i believe you ought to know. If you dont know the legends, you wont get my life.
Long ago there was a man with unImaginable power, but with the thought of the power of that man was also the thought of just how currupt he was. His name, Faol, which means wolf in gaelic. He believed his life ugly and stole the beauty out of everything he touched and as he stole beauty he became beautiful, not handsome, beautiful.Every girl would die to have his soft skin but still everything was ugly.
One day he happened to get lost in the palace garden, he happened to be the 3rd prince of the kingdom known as Malacnea. The garden was grand, he rememberd passing cherry trees at full bloom, and rememberd walking past willows but thats all. He decided to stop a spacie glade which just happened to have a small lake occupy it. Faol sat on the rock closest to the lake and looked the way he came from.
Faol heard a noise and turned toward the lake to search for its owner, but alas no one was there, but in the middle of the lake was a ripple that just wouldsnt stop. Faol thought it strange, He got up, the sun made his hair flash like fire and his dead eyes burn.He stopped walking and crouched near the water, looking down at the water he saw an impossible thing. He saw nothing, not a reflection nor a ripple even as he brought his hand down on the water. SPLASH! From wher he was he couldnt have been splashed by the water he thought while he looked at himself drenched with water. He got angry as he realised that his new embroided tunic was soaked.
"Come out now, I order you who has got me wet to come of out imediatly" Faol yelled feverishly.
No one anwsered but the water rippled, once, twice, again, again, and again, the ripple grew in the water and soon there was a girl standing where the first ripple had started and where that same ripple ended. The girls beauty was beyond others even his stolen beauty, and for the first time something was beautiful to him. her liquid blue eyes flashed with amusment and her beautiful fair skin was covered with a midevel dress made of the finest blue silk from the farthest reaches of the water. He himself looked like a prince even though he wore peasents clothes, his eyes as fiery red as a flame was the same color as his hair, his face looked like he was carved from ebony yet he was as pale as the sand on a good day. She herself looked carved out of crystals.
She seemed unreal to me when I first met her, she seemed melancholic and she didnt trust me I could see it in her eyes. She wore modern clothes but she seemed more like a legend but she also seemed so real.
Okay back to the legend of the Wolf and the swan.
Her smilE was as beautiful as the stars and she herself looked like she was from a fairy-tale. She laughed and it made the water around her ripple just the slightest, her voice was as beautiful as her and she herslf seemed shaken by Faol.
"Did you call"She sang heartily. Her dress swayed with a harsh wind. Her happiness dwindled as the wind picked up. "My name is Eala ans I am the draig-uisge(Water Dragon)."
Faol froze as he heard this "HA...Ha...Ha..." His laugh darkened everything around him, sucking the life out of everything but the girl. "You're kidding me, right?" His voice filled with a shocking anger fore he thought she was just like evryone else, Lying.
"No!" She anwsered strait faced.
He stopped laughing leaving an erie silence and an echoing laugh. That seemed to get louder, morph and warp into a erie hiss.
The girl smiled, No Eala smiled a smile so bright it almost made Faol step back but abruptly the laugh stopped echoing. Eala walked on the water toward the edge of the water, she was a not a step from the cold green earth but no, she stopped. Eala looked at the earth longinglybut she unlike her name couldnt walk on the earth without withering and dying. Eala means swan in Gaelic, she was, not, yet she was like a swn in all ways.
Eala leaned in and kissed Faol on the cheek, then as the wind blew and pushed her away she whispered in his ear...
Those words were never to be told to anyone and they never would but Faol was my great-great-great-great-great- ancient- ancienter Grandfather and my family has a memory cycle. When a child is born the one realated to the great king would die and the memories that person holds would be shut in a mental safe and be locked in the head of the first child born of that family, but that also meant that the great kings memories would be passed on to his son and than those memories and the memories of the holder would also be passed to the next childborn of that family. Well those memories were unlocked and now there stuck in my subconcius.
Those words are the loudest in my head.
"Nothing is beautiful if you dont believe it so. Everything is beautiful if you believe it is."
