After a couple of months waiting for something new, yesterday it was finally released Felipe Lima’s new track on the internet. The double track “Feel Me Again\\ Step Inside” is now available for reading and downloading in the CAP website and in Dotlyrics. The first song – “Feel Me Again” was presented to the public last Sunday during Felipe special appearance in the CAP award event. Two days later, we got the opportunity to talk to him and check out for the very first time, Felipe’s new work – “Fallen Star”.
It’s visible that Fallen Star is very different from Felipe last work “Before The Lights… The Darkness”, but the readers will still be able to recognize the boy’s style in those lyrics. The difference comes up as a good sign that Felipe’s songs are growing and changing as the writer himself. In his previously project, we saw a lot of dark and heavy compositions, except for a few ones as “Could Be This Way” and “Really Sometimes…” that seemed to escape to the author’s darkest phase. This new project presents lighter songs, what it must not be mistaken for shallow lyrics. The author discusses themes like lost loves (“Step Insider”) and self-respect (“Your Love Wasn’t Enough”). The author gets his sex back too. The sexual features in his songs, that was missed in BLD, returns in this project in the songs “Just For You And Me” and “Fantasy Machine”. According to the author:

I’m pretty happy and comfortable in this place where I’m right now. Last year was difficult to handle. My father had just died and I had to deal with a lot of things and I was just not ready to do it. However, I saw I had a lot of people that truly care about me. Their love and supporting were crucial to help me to rise up and get in this horse again. Now, I want to show this energy, this happiness in my work. I’m 16 year-old man now and I want to love, to live and have fun. The world is my oyster and I want to enjoy it.”

Among the 14 new lyrics, the readers will find 8 up beat songs and 6 ballads. You can check below four lyrics selected from Felipe’s new work I had the opportunity to read and comment. “Fallen Star” will be released next week on poetry forums and websites.

  • Step Insider: A beautiful ballad. Felipe expresses the loss of a great love through all the sense abilities. The song was selected to promote the new work on the websites and forums within “Feel Me Again”.

  • The Way Of Heart: Other heartfelt ballad. In this piece, Felipe talks about his relationship with his father. The author wrote this song in a kind of tribute to his father.

  • Fantasy Machine: If you missed lyrics like “My Personal Party” in the BLD, you’ll enjoy this song. Felipe show his naughty and sexy side in a very mature way. It’s visible how the boy grew up and his refined way to talk about themes like sex and intimacy.

  • Coming Back Around: This song is a dedication to the people who supported the boy along his career. Felipe shows his appreciation and dedicate this song to the friends who always believed in his writings. A funny upbeat tempo song that will make you snap your fingers while you’re reading it.
