All this knowing
Memory by memory
Can’t know except in moments

Her eyes are sad,
Silent as the sleeve-worn stone
Ledges where the moss has grown,
She screams

Ink running from the corners of her mouth,
Running, as the moon behind the winter leaves
An empty door and a maple leaf behind

Circles of motion in shallow sockets-
Eyes rolling in madness
Blonde legs burning like brush

Collateral turned ashes… in the dust
And know there is more
Inside of her
Inside of this girl
