A group project for poetry class. I did most of it though =/ Basically what's going on is a dead soldier is kind of remembering what happened at the Alamo. Not to terribly detailed but gives you a general idea I guess.

The empty graveyard
Full of memories past
A cold wind blows
Stirring ghosts from their rest

Remember the Alamo they say
Choking on the Texas dust
Gun smoke clogging the air
The stink of death and sheer determination

Jump over a fallen wall
Flow through the motions
Reload and fire
Reload and fire

Slowly they fall
Beneath bullet and blade
No chance to win
Every chance to stoke the flame

Remember the Alamo they say
And never give up hope
