Treasure the Enemy

Do you know how long your life is? Definitely not, we don’t know when our borrowed life be taken away from us—only God. Death is inevitable so we should always be ready, because we can die any minutes or seconds from now; it can be this day or the next; maybe a week after or months from now; this year or the next. In short, we will face death one way or another.

We all have enemy no matter how good we are, but do we really know who is our greatest enemy? No, we don’t know it. The reason why we are always fooled, we’re stupid enough to believe that our greatest enemy is our fellow human being. Why? Because we often let it past and think that it is not important in our life so we neglected it. At the end of the day, we will realized that we waste our time but the only thing that we could do is regret because we can never turn back time. Time is our greatest enemy and we can never win from this, because when it decided that time is up—it’s over.

I thought that death is the enemy but I was wrong, because it is just an accessory and the principal is time. Time decided when will it be over and death is the one who will do the job. It’s funny; we just only see time as tick-tock clock in the wall of our houses and not a thing that can end or change everything in just a flick of its hands. I hate time because I know that every seconds, minutes and hours means that I am getting nearer to the end of the deadline. But I also love it; it’s amazing how time can manipulate everything maybe that is the art of it.

Am I the only one who wishes that time machine should exist? I think time is being unfair to us because it never gave us second chance to undo or redo our wrong actions. Maybe through this we can change our present and future for the better. There will be no disappointments, regrets and sadness because we’re all going to be our best self. Then I realized that where is the thrill and challenge if I already know what the future is and if I can always change my actions. I will only take time for granted and it will never be precious anymore. And I can never taste how sweet life is if there is no bitterness, if it is all about the good and best. Time maybe our greatest enemy but it also teaches us lesson that we should treasure time because it is precious as our life. There will never be regrets if we live our life to the fullest and treasure our precious time.
