On the night of our Christmas dance,

The school freak asked if I'd be his girl, by chance?

His life was nothing short of a wreck, so out of pity,

I flashed a smile and gave him a night of perfect romance.

The next morning, as I slowly came to my senses,

I realized that between us were many, many fences.

For his "ride" around town was merely a bicycle,

And I could not possibly afford to give such pretenses.

His heart was empty, so he wouldn't care.

Wrapping my arms around him as nearby peers stared,

I did my dirty work, and suddenly felt free,

I mean, me and the freak? That'd be an impossible pair....
