Im sorry are two words i never want to mean

Two meanings i never want to feel Two feelings i never want to hold A weight upon my shoulders that gets heavier as i get old

I carry around this box of rocks Full of gold Or full of coal Whichever comes first Whichever is left

I don't know The wise man told me so But i didn't listen dammit i didn't listen

Why oh why Cant i fly Why oh why Must i wait till i die

What bullshittery it is That every moment feels like this Not fair i cry to the thunder rolling by Not fair i say the the child all alone He laughs and says maybe i should go home

Come back when your ready for this big bad world It'll eat you alive It'll eat us alive Maybe just maybe Im just a little slice

A tiny little crumb Of a bite sized bullet Choking on the sound Of words i never said Books i never read People i never held Words I've never spelled

Why speak at all When somebody around Has said it all before? Why build a window When right there is the door What the hellamifighting for?

Oh why oh why Am i still fighting it for?
