All alone on a rainy day

Small drops of glistening liquid falls from the heavens to crash down and splader on the lush but sometimes unforgiving earth. The grey weightless pillows gather together forming a dark blanket that blocks out those precious golden rays that are insscentual to the words growth.

An angry beam of light shoots from the blackness only to be swallowed up by the icy grip of the water. In protest the light produces a load roar that always fallows after it. Its cry can be herd throughout the land, filling the creatures below with fear and panic.

Even though the sun is covered and the ground is soaked this cycle is necessary to renew our ever changing earth. The light may seem dimmer and the air thicker but once all the crystal dew drops drops have fallen the black sky fades away leaving a perfect blue sheet to cover a endless roof, that has protected the globe since the beginning of time.

It may not be the prettiest or gentlest force of nature but without it the fragile circle that keeps our world balanced would dry up and shrieval away leaving a barren waste land that we once use to call home
