The wind ripped through the kitchen window howling like a chorus of demons. The once tranquil trees twisted and bowed to near breaking point. We hadn't had a storm this powerful in quite some time. Being the middle of the summer, every window in the entire two story house was open. I quickly raced around, first upstairs then downstairs, and yanked each one shut. It must have been humorous for Cathy as I scurried around. She giggled as I whipped past her.
I had only been dating Cathy four months when I asked her to move in. I was married, though. My ex wife had a change of heart so suddenly and left me for someone else after only nine months of marriage. My world had been turned upside down and Cathy was a blessing for me when I hit rock bottom. I do love her though it still hurts when I think about my ex. I don't care who you are, it'spainfull to thinkabout your wife burried between the sheets with another man in the bed that you provided for her.
The storm was here. The rain came firing down, more like bullets if you ask me. " Now it's a real storm!" Cathy said as she glanced out the living room door. She seemed to enjoy this more than me. I prefer sunshine. We had the television, lights, and most electrical devices off since we expected the power to eventually go out anyway. With nothing to do, I decided to catch up on some reading and sprawl out on the sofa. Just as I was locked in to the book I was reading, in came Cathy. " I'm bored" she said, then dropped her robe. "Let's do something". She crept towards me, slowly, sexy. She had on a lingerie piece, black, with high stockings. With each step I became more nervous. My heart raced as if it was the first woman I had been with. Suddenly I forgot what happened in chapter four. "Follow me" she whispered.
I walked behind her. Down the hall and up the stairs. Once in the our room, I leaped on the bed. She came towards me, crawling on all fours. " What do you want" she asked. I wanted her though?she didn't seem to want that answer. As I began to whisper in her ear, a loud knock from the front door startled both of us. " Are you kidding me" she blurted. " Don't move" I said. "I don't care if it's the pope. I'm throwing his ass out!" I rose from the bed and flew down the stairs. "Rediculous!". I turned the lock and pulled the door. " Hello anthony". It took a second to realize that it was my ex wife standing at my door.
