OUR FLAWS

Poem by: FlawedByDesign

Summary

Without even thinking this one turned out to be symmetrical in a sense. The form is odd and unlike any of my other pieces but I like it.

OUR FLAWS

Abstracted, I wake to the dawn of imperfection.
As my eyes pierce the light,
Unaware of the ensuing blight,
I feel the pain.
I am scarred from the onset,
I am marked for life.
Tainted flesh,
My stain,
My stigma,
My strife!

Relentless, you march with blisters on your feet.
As you tread the unknown still,
Be aware of ill will,
Shed the impurity within.
You are the rift in veracity,
You are left in awe.
Wounded nature,
Your frailty,
Your fault,
Your flaw!
