Sound card with S / PDIF

With an S / PDIF (Sony / Philips Digital InterFace) digital audio signal can be transmitted in this case, the sound to the amplifier. There are two ways, using a coaxial (single) RCA cable (with RCA) and
optically using an optical cable (fiber glass cable) with Toslink plugs.

Optical cables can buy from Alternate.nl include (but may also improve the Hifi / Audio issue in your area).

Do you have an optical output / input on your PC and a coaxial input / output on your amp then you might consider a converter. Conrad you can Converter Optical to Coaxial, plus power, find € 19.95 (plus € 6.95 plus € 8.00 delivery fee for orders under € 20, -). Pay with PayPal, there are no shipping costs.

This is a sound that is best suited to recording LPs. Stereo input and output, simply connect your RCA cables and you're done. Forget about left or right back, just left and right. Sound cards with RCA in / outputs are scarce. The sound card in the picture above is one of the few that I could find. This is a sound card from M-Audio Audiophile 2496 type, available for about € 100, -. Spicy on the price but worth the money.
