There you were
Outside my door
And you took my breath away
Like only you can do
You asked me to take you back
I couldn't say a word
The only thing I  could
Was pull you in my arms,
Gently, Welcoming you back.
Welcoming you home.
You smiled at me
I smiled at you
And for an eternity
Or was it a minute?
My life was complete
But then I woke up
Woke up and realised
It was all a dream
Nothing but a dream
Nevertheless I smiled
Whispered: "Maybe some day"
Turned around, closed my eyes
And was in your arms again
