Serene Beauty

A day on the beach

In the hot months of Summer.

A girl makes her way

Out of the cool water.

Her coffee-colored eyes

Twinkle in the sunlight.

Her damp brown hair

Waves in the light breeze.

Her moist lips

Glimmer a shade of rose.

Seawater

Drips, drips, drips

Off her soaked bikini.

Her soft tan skin

Glows like a ray of sunlight.

Her ivory white smile

Greets everyone on the beach.

Her long, smooth legs

Slowly trot back to her towel.

As I look on at this girl

One word comes to mind.

Beautiful.
