Caught in the blast
Of shattered promises
And all around me
They lay like corpses

Three days
Is that all you can do?
When you say you love me
I need to trust you!
And if you cant tell me,
When they shatter,
Then my heart will explode
You’ll be caught in the spatter.

Caught in the blast
Of shattered promises
And all around me
They lay like corpses

The thing
That you need to learn
Is my trust
You have to earn
Ive been hurt
So many times before
So many losses
That ive abandoned score

Caught in the blast
Of shattered promises
And all around me
They lay like corpses

Your actions
They have consequences
And you have had
So many chances
Every piece
Lay before me as glass
I slit my veins
Get buried under the grass

Caught in the blast
Of shattered promises
And all around me
They lay like corpses
When im gone
At least you’ll know
The next time you’ll see me
Is on heavens plateau
With eyes full of hurt
And cuts to my wrists
A ghost of the past
No buts or ifs

I was caught in the blast
Of shattered promises
And now me and my tears
Lay as corpses
