We were the blood brothers,
We cut our hands,
We held guns,
We held hands.

We screamed in fear,
Looked in anger,
Because we were the fighters,
We were the battlers.

We lost the battle,
We lost the show,
We lost the trophy,
We lost the flow.

We lost,
Yet it is insignificance,
But we aren’t quiet,
We aren’t in silence.

This meant it all,
Still it is nothing,
Are minds are set,
On other things.

We are the losers,
In the competition,
But in life,
We are the undone.

On this day,
Not a tear is shed,
But all this time war,
Is going on in our heads.

We were the blood brothers,
We cut our hands,
We held guns,
We held hands.

We screamed in fear,
Looked in anger,
Because we were the fighters,
We were battlers.

In real life,
There is a slight difference,
We do not have,
Blood raged intent.

But the people around us,
Are dysfunctional,
They take drugs,
Some are mental.

We find we are
Bleeding on the inside,
Yet we look,
“happy’’ on the outside.

I said a tear wasn’t shed,
Well not right then,
Later at home tears left our eyes,
never to be seen again.

We are the losers,
In the competion of life,
This is why,
We turn to the knife.

We were the blood brothers,
We cut our hands,
We held guns,
We held hands.

We screamed in fear,
Looked in anger,
Because we are the fighters,
We are the battlers.
