Being pulled,
An unending tug of war.
My mind says one way,
My heart says another.
One road I will be supported,
The other I will be cast away.
But would I rather be supported,
Or do what I love?
I wish to sit on the fence,
Not have to decide,
But this is what’s best for you,
My friends say.
Surely I should know,
Know what is best for me.
But my mind is in shambles,
And I can’t piece this puzzle together.
Im not the first person to feel this,
I wont be the last,
I need a map,
A map to the right place.
Should I go to the place of the heart?
Or the place of the brain?
