Summary

The only boy in my head.

Crooked smile that breaks my heart again,

The note in my pocket, the hurt in my chest,

Of all of them; You're the best.

It'll always be you.

Everything, no matter what I do.

You're at the barn,

You're in my book,

You're the ghost in the glance; the last look.

The western saddle on the top rack,

A red truck, country music up? You.

"Paint Me a Birmingham". That's you.

The middle of nowhere?

The brown eyes that caught my stare.

Fayettvill Georgia? You.

Getting lost on the road, laughing, "let's keep going!"

The one person in the world my horse bites,

All the pointless playful fights.

Notes when things get rocky,

The creeper under my bed,

The only boy in my head.

Crooked smile that breaks my heart again,

The note in my pocket, the hurt in my chest,

Of all of them; You're the best.

You.

It'll always be you.
