So what the sun’s shining?

Can’t you hear my heart crying?

Can’t you see my soul dying?

So what the sun’s shining?

Can’t you hear my heart crying?

Can’t you see my soul dying?

Of course not. You don’t care.

You were never there, never fair.

Don’t act like I’m wrong, don’t you dare!

I’m broken inside,

Something I try to hide.

It won’t change anything, turn the tide.

Aren’t we all just along for the ride?

So what the sun’s shining?

My world is dark and the colors are dying.

I sit alone and sigh,

Find a rope, a noose I tie.

My problem will all be gone if I die.

Let the sun shine

On the nonexistent shrine

Upon me, while I’m in my final resting place.

A lovely place where I’ll never see your face.
