No burnt up biscits for super

No muddy boot prints on the floor

I'll complain again, never more.

Your dog tags around my neck

You army picture on my desk

No point in looking for better; I had the best.

No flowers on the counter

No chocolates in a box

I need a Jack on the rocks.

Nothing on the answering machine

No little notes

As to have been expected; no hope.

No burnt up biscits for super

No muddy boot prints on the floor

I'll complain again, never more.

Your dog tags around my neck

You army picture on my desk

No point in looking for better; I had the best.

Half empty bed

Too much space

I just need to touch your face.

A grave dug too early

A wife left alone

A fatherless daughter, unborn in a war zone.
