Look at me
Into my ransacked eyes
Ransacked of life and replaced with why's

Look at me
I'm choking inside
This time you will see it
Through my mother’s eyes

She will scream and sob
The whole world will sigh

But i'm talking to you
Are you selectively blind?
Is it because it's only
Affecting my kind?

Look at me i say!
You can't wash my blood away

Look at me
I'm crying inside
This time you will see it
Through my teachers eyes

Taking shelter in our schools
I see his silent figure fall
So graceful, even in brutal death,
Even through this dried blood i shed

Look at me
This time you will see it through my People's eyes
Don’t let these limp figures fool you
We are alive inside

And we will fight oppression till the day we die...

Another little boy shot in the chest;
"An unfortunate mistake" they said
