So many feelings, i dont think i understand,

what are these emotions, these ones that are unplanned,

its like they are all jumbled up, and starting to expand,

for there are no lone emotions, not a solitary strand.

.

My heart they've crossed, my brain they've filled, my soul they've long since spanned,

until its like my head is floating, but im falling through quicksand,

They've swept into my soul, and invaded my heartland,

and now i dont know what is what, my feelings are unmanned.

.

I am awash with strange emotions, far more than i can stand,

for all these feelings flow through me, leaving a wasteland,

and though my body's over run, with strange thoughts i cant command,

i try to put on a brave face, keep playing in life's band.
