Just for a day, if you could be me,

to do what i do, to see what i see,

you can open whats hidden, and trap what is free,

then when you've finished we can see what i'll be.

.

so just for a day, my soul's your's to peruse,

you can mould me and shape me, maybe give me a muse,

you can fix me and help me to stopper my fuse,

then when you've finished we can see through my ruse.

.

so just for a day, you can see my true face,

to see what i am, when my shroud's not in place,

to see what i am far from public embrace,

then when you've finished we can see my disgrace.

.

so just for a day, see who i really am,

see through my lies, see my everyday scam,

see through my lies, see the truth gram for gram,

then when you've finished, will you still give a damn?
